Can you hear the Buzz? (Expand for notes.) Samsung Plasma Buzz Test PN58C8000 Important note: At higher volumes you should hear the mechanical noise of the tape deck from the video camera. I thought it was a useful reference as background noise. (Plus I didn't have any other device with a better mic.) The Buzz is loudest at the center of the screen. Unfortunately this is where I normally sit when watching TV. But you can still hear it all the way around the TV. This was recorded after I had the 58" TV about a week. Delivered 9/16/10. Recorded 9/22/10. Returned: 9/23/10 Recorded: - Sound with TV Off for reference (10ft) - Buzz at 5, 10, and 15 ft * LISTEN when camera is tilted down * This angles the mic toward the TV - YouTube video for comparative audio levels * Note that I did not tilt the camera down during the YouTube video, but I went and checked later and the Buzzing could be heard the same as the other 10 ft videos. - Buzz behind TV - Sound with TV off & on again (10ft) Additional Notes: - There IS background noise from Camera Tape Deck - Listen when the camera tilts forward for the difference - Random clicks and pops are from touching the camera - Recorded with Sony HDR-HC1 (HDV Camera) - Buzz is worse on darker / black screens - Should be able to find the "Charlie bit my finger - again !"
